JEWELLERY CARE
If you would like to clean your jewellery you can do this by popping it in a bowl of warm water, add some washing up liquid and use a soft nylon toothbrush (a baby toothbrush works perfectly) to gently rub over your jewellery. Pop it on some kitchen roll and allow to dry fully before putting it back in your piercing.
Our titanium jewellery and solid gold jewellery will not tarnish but our sterling silver jewellery can tarnish under certain conditions. We recommend not keeping sterling silver jewellery in 24/7 and if you are looking for jewellery to wear 24/7 then you should look at our range of titanium jewellery.
Chemicals cause sterling silver jewellery to tarnish so we would recommend removing before swimming/hot tubs and removing to apply perfumes/body lotions etc.
The tarnishing of sterling silver jewellery can be polished away by using a silver polishing cloth so you can have it looking as sparkly as the day you bought it easily.
Gold plating can wear away over time with prolonged use which is something that is, unfortunately, unavoidable in items that are not solid gold but you should still get lots of wear out of your jewellery.
We absolutely do not recommend the use of abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals such as bicarb/baking soda, bleach or cleaning pastes! This can completely ruin your jewellery to beyond repair.
